Half Blind Dovetail Joinery
The dovetails in this style are cut partway through and lock into the front and back of the drawer box.
Dovetails are only visible from the side of the drawer box and not the front or back.
• Spaced in 1” increments.
• Clean cut with no tear-outs.
• Drawer box bottom concealed within the dovetail joint.

All our drawer boxes are custom made and can be
ordered to the nearest 1/16” in width and depth.
Standard wall thickness is 5/8”
Drawer can be notched and drilled for undermount
slides.
Our standard heights are 2” through 13” tall in 1”
increments. All heights must be only in 1” increments
to avoid the dovetail joint showing and for it to mill
cleanly.
We use soft maple as our standard box material. This
will have some mineral staining and imperfections.
(Other options are available.)
To minimize glued material we use one piece material
on drawer boxes up to 8” tall. Any height over 8” will be
laminated to minimize warpage or cupping.
We use 1/4” MDF core maple veneer for all drawer
bottoms with grain running left to right (side to side).
This fits into a 1/4” groove that is cut into all four sides
of the box 1/2” up from the bottom of the box. The
bottom is then stapled from underneath to all four sides
for a tight, solid, and strong box.
On all boxes over 30” wide, we install a 1/2” x 2”
hardwood center support underneath the drawer bottom
for added bottom support.
Boxes are glued, assembled, and then sanded for a
smooth surface on dovetailed joints ready for you to
finish.
Standard Dovetail Box
Front, back, and side wall equal height, all with eased
top edge (flush at top).
Standard Pull Out Tray (PO)
Has a non scalloped front. Sanded and clean front.
These must be clearly noted on Drawer Order Form in
the Special Notes Area.

Has a Scalloped front.
These must be clearly noted on Drawer Order Form in
the Special Notes Area.
Notched For Plumbing
Drawers can be notched to allow space for plumbing.
This style requires an upcharge.
You must supply dimensions clearly on Order Form.
Standard Trash Can Dovetailed Drawer
Pullouts can be made to any width.
Offset Wall Height (OFWH)
This option makes the sides 1/8” shorter than the front
and back. There is an upcharge for this style.
